  • How does this course work?

    Teaching Theology to Kids is an 8-unit course designed to equip you to understand theology and better teach it to the children you serve. Each unit includes a video lesson (approximately 20-30 minutes) from Julia Ball of Equip Family. Along with the video lessons, you'll have access to weekly reflections & projects to complete at your own pace, recommended reading lists, and ideas for teaching the ideas to children!

  • What does this course include?

    This course includes: eight video teachings on Theology 101, Why Theology Matters, The Trinity, Jesus & Salvation, The Church, The Holy Spirit, The Tough Questions and Making It Real for Kids. You'll also receive weekly reflections and projects (complete at your own pace!) to help make theology come alive for you and the kids you serve, recommended reading lists, an exclusive “Teaching Theology to Kids” PDF that includes course content, and a coupon for the Equip Family Shop!

  • What credentials does this course have?

    This course is intended to be for self-learning, and isn't meant to replace training you'd receive at a Bible college or other institution. It is meant to be for those who lead children and are looking for opportunities to further their learning! Julia Ball, the instructor, is a Children's & Families Pastor who holds Bachelors' & Masters' Degrees in Theology.

  • Do I have a time limit to complete the course?

    The course is intended to be an 8-week course, but when you register, you'll have access to materials for 4 months (after start date of August 20)! You can self-pace your learning. There is NO grading, but Julia will provide feedback and interaction with all course students in a private Facebook group.
